Job Description

:
As the Head of Finance, your duties and responsibilities include the following:
Lead the budgeting, forecasting and financial performance monitoring processes
Drive the companys financial strategy to fuel growth and strengthen competitive positioning
Provide key financial insights to executive team and board to inform high-level strategic decisions
Partner with business units to assess the financial impact of new products, markets and partnerships
Deliver insightful variance analysis and actionable recommendations to enhance profitability and operational efficiency
Build financial models that support pricing strategies, revenue growth and cost optimization
Oversee the preparation of precise and timely financial statements
Ensure full compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards
Supervise day-to-day accounting functions
Strengthen financial controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting
Guarantee adherence to South African and US tax regulations
Stay ahead of tax law charges and implement proactive strategies to minimize tax exposure
Oversee regulatory fillings with SARB and other governing bodies
Mitigate financial risks
Manage key banking relationships and streamline banking operations
Optimize cash flow and liquidity to support both operational needs and long term growth goals
Design and uphold robust internal control framework
Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirementsSkills & Experience:
Approximately 10 years experience within finance
Experience in the payments, FinTech, or financial services industries would be beneficial
Demonstrated expertise in managing FP&A, accounting, tax and treasuryQualification:
Registered CA(SA)
