We're looking for a qualified Accountant & finance professional with robust Workbook experience to join their team.The Head of Finance is responsible for the overall management of all the financial and IT requirements of the agency's business and adherence to corporate governance best practice.The Head of Finance will lead the strategic direction of financial best practices in the efficient financial management, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, margins, compliance and the operational administration aligned to the Company's Financial Operating Procedures.The Head of Finance will provide financial guidance and support to the Managing Director, Board, Senior Leadership Team, and other departments to drive business growth and profitability.Responsibilities

• Overall strategic leadership, performance, career development and management of the Finance Team.
• Manage full financial function of the business including payroll, corporate governance, and statutory compliance. Ensure compliance with all relevant SARS and Labour Laws requirements.
• Submission of weekly Financial Reports to the Board on Key Financial Indicators.
• Preparation, analysis, and accurate submission of monthly management accounts.
• Analyse income statements to identify potential risks and cost saving opportunities.
• Oversee all accounting activities to ensure accurate and effective alignment with Workbook including Debtors and Creditors.
• Manage the overall preparation and presentation of the annual Budgeting Process.
• Evaluate company performance against forecast and budget.
• Provide strategic financial support to Managing Director, Business Units and HOD's to ensure financial best practice is executed.
• Ongoing development, management, and improvement of the maintenance of internal financial operating controls and procedures
• Accurate cashflow management
• Provide financial guidance, mentorship, and support to non-financial teams.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks to the agency
• Oversee and manage Office and IT Management
• Manage the capital expenditure budget and forecast capital expenditure requirements in line with the business strategy.

RequirementsThe successful candidate must have/be:

• Professional Financial and Accounting Post Graduate Tertiary Qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance.
• Strong financial analysis and planning skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Experience in managing international finances and currencies.
• Advertising Agencies experience advantageous.
• A strategic thinker with the ability to adapt, think out the box to maximise profitability.
• Knowledge of local and global accounting standards and regulations.
• Ability to manage and lead a team with at least 6 years in a leadership role.
• Advanced MS Office, Workbook and Pastel knolwedge and experience - Workbook is essential
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting, Management Accounts, Local and Global Tax Laws, Best business practices, Corporate Governance, International currencies, SA Labour law
