Job Description
Job Title: Senior Financial ManagerLocation: Gauteng
Industry: Car Hire/AutomotiveKey Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the full financial function of the company
- Lead the consolidation of financial results at a group level
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards (SAICA/SAIPA)
- Provide strategic financial insights to support key business decisions
- Drive process improvements, cost efficiencies, and operational excellence
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Manage financial reporting and month-end processes
- Work closely with the operational team to align financial strategies with business goals
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance
- BCom/BCom Honours in Accounting or Finance
- SAICA/SAIPA qualified
- Minimum of 5 years post-articles experience in a commercial environment, preferably at a group level
- Strong expertise in consolidations
- Experience in the car hire/automotive industry is highly advantageous
- Proven track record of academic excellence, professional achievements, or awards
- Advanced proficiency in financial software systems and Excel
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
