Our client, a respected name in the financial services industry, is looking for a Head of Finance with extensive experience in IFRS 9 to oversee financial reporting, risk management, and compliance. This role will be responsible for board reporting, financial governance, and providing strategic financial insights to drive business growth and ensure regulatory adherence.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA) qualification is essential
- Minimum 8 years post-articles experience in a senior financial role
- Strong technical expertise in IFRS 9, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Extensive board reporting experience is critical
- Experience in the financial services sector is preferred
- Proven leadership ability, with experience managing finance teams
- Ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and provide strategic financial guidance
