Valor Hospitality Partners is recruiting for one of our esteemed clients based in Zanzibar. They are seeking an experienced Head of Finance who will boldly ensure their group's financial compliance and strategic development. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking financial leader with a robust track record in managing finances in dynamic and complex environments.POSITION INFO:Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the financial operations of the group, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that support the group's long-term goals.
• Ensure robust financial controls and reporting systems are in place and maintained.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes across the group.
• Manage relationships with auditors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Head of Finance or similar role.
• Strong understanding of financial management, accounting, and strategic planning.
• Experience in an African working environment is a plus.
• Experience in the real estate industry is a plus.
• Additional language skills are a plus.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
