Their aim is to provide a work environment where knowledge workers can accelerate the development of their ideas and bring innovation to market, at the same time provide compelling career and development proposition that will enable them to realise their dreams.They now seek a head of impact analytics to join their team.An exciting position is available for a qualified actuary or nearly qualified actuary with a hybrid skillset across actuarial and valuations to grow and lead a financial impact capability within the strategy, product and business development team!This role is suitable for appropriately qualified affirmative action candidates.JOB DESCRIPTION WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

  • You will be required to harness the actuarial, data science, valuations and software skills available to measure and track the performance of rewards and loyalty initiatives across the group. This will enable the company to optimise its investment in R&L through the measurement and adjustment of products and behavioural science tools;
  • You will be required to engage with stakeholders across our business to design and produce reports on financial performance of products with loyalty bonuses and the resultant business and client impact;
  • You will be required to collaborate with key businesses and R&L product owners to develop and perform KPI, ROI and other indicators that will monitor and measure the outcomes of rewards strategies;
  • You will be required to assist in the development and execution of key functions within the product team to support the company's R&L with analytical insights and management feedback;
  • You will be required to compile stakeholder reports on rewards & loyalty key performance indicators, ROI on investment of businesses, engagement and reach for different client groups;
  • You will be responsible for analytical and financial modelling of earn and burn side strategies including the management of loyalty benefits and pricing models;
  • You will be required to act as a liaison between actuarial and R&L in order to ensure that rewards concepts are adequately priced and valued;
  • You will be required to perform analytical studies for other functional areas as required;
  • You will be required to measure & monitor the group-wide loyalty & rewards initiatives including the impact of growth, cross-sell and up-sell opportunities;
  • You will be required to assist the business to measure and monitor the success of using AI and analytics to identify and execute on these opportunities;
  • You will be required to measure & monitor the performance of insurance products with the wealth bonus loyalty components.
  • These products include: RA's Wealth products; LISP products; Credit Card; Personal Loans etc

CORE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • You have a degree and have passed 9 - 12 subjects;
  • You have a minimum of 2 years current, relevant experience;
  • You have a Bachelors and / or Master's degree in data science, mathematical statistics, computer science or related field - this would be a distinct advantage;
  • You have a demonstrated history of applying actuarial science valuation concepts in a business environment;
  • You have experience in life and or short term insurance;
  • You have experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages when managing data: (e.g. R, Python, SQL, etc.);
  • You have experience visualising / presenting data for stakeholder use;
  • You have a love for analytics & analytical tools: enjoys applying technical and analytical knowledge to visualise business outcomes;
  • You are a fast technical learner: have a good approach towards learning and understanding new technologies and its business application;
  • You have actuarial problem solving skills;
  • You have issues management knowledge;
  • You have data collection knowledge;
  • You have business analysis knowledge.
