If so, we invite you to explore an exciting opportunity as the Head of Assurance and Audit in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.As the Head of Assurance and Audit, you will play a critical role in ensuring control framework and policies are effectively implemented and complied with by the business and functions in South Africa. You will lead robust assurance and monitoring activities, providing independent assurance over financial control, accounting, risk management, and fraud control policies.To apply, please send your CV toDuties:

• Implement and maintain effective monitoring and assurance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting and internal policies.
• Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships to drive the successful delivery of projects.
• Provide independent assurance over financial control, risk management, and fraud control policies to ensure consistency with bp's global standards.
• Drive simplification and standardization of accounting and reporting processes by partnering with senior management.
• Ensure high-quality interface with business finance and other relevant teams to ensure effective operation of control policies.

Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:

• Matric (Garde 12)
• BCom Accounting
• BCom Hoours / CTA
• Qualified CA(SA)

Experience:

• Completed SAICA ArticlesExperience in assurance, audit, or finance, with a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven experience in business process control, process improvement, and system implementation.

Skills & Competencies:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, pressurized environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
• Emotional maturity, resilience, and stress tolerance.
