Head of Marketing - ParktownFull job descriptionTHE JOB AT A GLANCEReporting into the Executive: Corporate Services the Head: Marketing will be responsible for the management of all marketing activities through crafting of strategies for all Marketing teams, including Brand management, Marketing management, Digital marketing, Advertising, Communications and overseeing the Creative team. The incumbent will be responsible for also be required to develop and manage the long-term marketing strategy for RMA and to establish and position RMA brand in the market to reach new market segments and expand market share and will be responsible for executing programmes to align with the interests of stakeholders (stakeholder plan); prepare and manage budgets for the Marketing department; set monitor and report on team goals. for RMA.Develop & Refine Brand IdentityCreate a brand plan and brand strategy, ensuring all aspects of RMA and its associated companiesxe2x80x99 marketing activities align with the ethos and goals of the brandDevelop high quality and effective marketing materials that align correctly with the overall brand strategyPresent the brand strategy to Exco and the sales and marketing teams at internal meetingsLead the development of strategies and objectives for building and executing year-round brand engagement through partnerships, social media, and other marketing vehiclesAct as RMAxe2x80x99s brand champion and expert while ensuring brand integrity in all respects by championing the brand internally, making sure all elements of the company understand the brand and its goalsBrand Positioning and ManagementDevelop and maintain brand corporate identityProvide branding direction and develop and execute brand marketing programsCommunicate our brand personality internally and align company around foundational ideasCollaborate with other departments to ensure that the commercial goals of the brand are met by helping to develop advertising and promotional programsCustomer Value ManagementDefine and implement customer strategies and policies to deliver on strategic objectives and customer experienceDevelop and implement RMH wide customer understanding & segmentation and relationship management strategiesWork closely with Marketing Team to define customer experience for each pillar (i.e. COID, RML, AIT)Define the customer value proposition and cascade through relevant products & servicesDrives business development initiatives to grow RMA & RML customer base by collaborating with business and the marketing teamCreative Design Studio ManagementOversee overall creative designs (branding, user interface, web design, DTP and print media)Lead and direct the creative team outputCustomer InsightsGather, review, and organise customer data and profiles into segmentsInterpret customer data to generate behavioural trends for improved customer experienceEnsure maximum customer engagement and best possible results of campaigns by dissecting campaign results to understand underlying behavioural patterns and to develop insightsManage and continuously improve on customer engagement metricsTeam ManagementStaff performance monitoring, coaching and developmentRecruitment and selection of new members of the marketing teamEnsuring staffing levels are maintained in order to complete all aspects of the customer strategyLead team members through campaigns WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE?Knowledge of business policies, processes and procedures, legal complianceNQF Level 8: Honours Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or AdvertisingMinimum 8- 10 years of experience in a similar role within the insurance/financial services sector, 5 years at Senior Management levelStrong project management skillsExperience in leading change and transformation based on insights in operational unitExperience working with CRM systemExperience managing a teamProject management experienceDigital marketing experienceData analytics experience Turnaround timeThe shortlisting process will only start once the application due date has been reached.
