My client is a genuine, expanding company with a mission to drive the expansion of businesses by developing growth strategies and delivering tangible results.As the Head of M&A, you will be responsible to create and improve intellectual property within the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) practice, which involves developing valuable knowledge, tools, or methodologies that can enhance the practice's effectiveness and value.To help implement and advance the M&A strategy by transitioning the business from focusing solely on transaction support to a balanced approach, responsibilities include:
- To generate value by growing and improving the client base
- To make sure the division meets its revenue and profit goals
- To develop and be responsible for the division's strategy, including establishing objectives and key results for the M&A practice.
- Oversee and nurture client relationships
- To be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in the delivery of the M&A practice
- To cultivate, guide, and advance the skills of junior professionals in the team
- Must possess strong technical expertise and utilize practical market experience to direct the team in executing all engagements and drive overall performance across the wider team.
CA(SA)
8 years experience in a Transaction Advisory, Investment banking or Private Capital role
CFA with 10 years of experience in a Transaction Advisory, Investment banking or Private Capital role
5 years managerial exposure
