Purpose of the Role: The Microsoft Dynamics CE Head of Department is responsible for leading and overseeing the departments strategy and operations related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics CE and experience in managing teams. This role involves developing and implementing departmental strategies to meet business goals.Key Responsibilities: * Strategy Development:
Develop and implement the departments strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
Define roadmaps, blueprints, and change plans for Microsoft Dynamics CE.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including Product Owners and Product Technology Specialists, to maximize service quality, efficiency, and continuity.
Team Leadership and Management:
Lead and manage the Microsoft Dynamics CE team.
Provide direction, mentorship, and support to team members.
Foster collaboration and effective communication within the team.
Software Development and Maintenance:
Oversee the development and maintenance of quality software solutions for Microsoft Dynamics CE.
Cover the entire software development lifecycle, including design, build, testing, and operational support.
Manage retirement of legacy systems.
Technical Expertise and Support:
Provide subject matter expertise to Product Owners and Product Technology Specialists.
Investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
Collaborate with 3rd party service suppliers.
Customer Relationship Management:
Manage customer relationships related to product engineering activities.
Make decisions that influence deliverables and team objectives.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Security Awareness:
Understand and prioritize security requirements in software development and operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualification in Information Technology or Dynamics CE certifications.
Proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics CE development and management.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with security best practices.
