Our client, a fully integrated producer, packer, and marketer based in the Citrusdal Valley, Western Cape, is seeking a Head of People Practices to join their management team and contribute significantly to their continued success.Role Overview:The primary purpose of this role is to provide leadership, coordination, and support in driving people best practices. The position will foster a values- and culture-driven environment, positioning the business as a leader in the international fresh produce industry. The Head of People Practices will be part of the senior management team alongside the Heads of Business and Functional Units, as well as Group Entities.Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in an FMCG or agriculture organization in an HR management or group HR manager role, with experience leading a division
• Postgraduate degree in HR or a related field
• Strong leadership, management, facilitation, and execution skills
• High levels of energy and drive
• Strong analytical, data, and reporting abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• A strong belief in the potential of people and communities
• A team player with interdependence, servant leadership qualities, and self-starter abilities

• Facilitate, execute, and benchmark HR strategy
• Lead an HR team
• Facilitate culture and values engagement
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding
• Coordinate organizational development and training
• Ensure legal compliance, policies, and procedures
• Oversee remuneration and incentive benefit practices
• Coordinate health and safety, including incident management
• Act as custodian of people data and reporting
