Our client is one of the largest FMCG companies in South Africa. Since their inception, they have been growing steadily and are looking to bolster their team with dedicated and skilled professionals. This established and reputable organization is committed to excellence and continuous improvement, making it an ideal workplace for ambitious individuals.To this end, they are looking for a Head of Property Services who will report to the head of real estate. You will be responsible for heading up the leasing function, handling dispute resolution, risk mitigation, and ensuring that all property services such as facilities and utilities management are kept up to standard. You will also be tasked with maintaining positive relationships with all landlords across the portfolio. In this leadership role, you will have a team of regional property managers reporting to you, ensuring cohesive and efficient property services management across the board.The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree in either Law or Business Administration, along with at least 10 years of experience within the property industry, with a minimum of 8 of those years in the retail leasing space on behalf of an occupier. Your extensive knowledge of leasing and the regulatory statutes surrounding leasing is imperative. A proven history of successfully maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders and landlords is essential.
