Role Overview: As Head of Safety Operations, you will collaborate with the DHSW to execute a forward-thinking Safety agenda aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals and ISO standards. You'll provide expert advice to promote positive safety behaviour across the organization.Responsibilities:

• Support DHSW and management teams with Safety and risk management.
• Work with support functions to establish long-term safety improvement programs.
• Develop proactive safety strategies for the workforce, supply chain, and community. Implement education and communication strategies to enhance safety awareness.
• Act as a subject matter expert on safety practices internally and externally.
• Manage risk-based assurance programs to monitor policy effectiveness.
• Ensure service quality initiatives align with UK standards and customer expectations.
• Recommend and implement activities for a consistent approach to workplace safety interventions.

Requirements:

• Chartered Safety Practitioner or equivalent experience.
• Masterxe2x80x99s degree or equivalent in Safety or related discipline.
• In-depth knowledge of safety and risk management.
• Familiarity with safety legislation, ISO standards, and workplace safety initiatives.
