Job Description

Our client in the Renewables Energy industry is currently looking for a Head of Sales, in Randburg, Johannesburg.Responsibilities:

• Set the overall sales vision and direction for the organization, primarily focusing on the B2C market
• Build and lead a high-performing sales team to exceed sales objectives.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's overall goals to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
• Develop and manage sales budgets and resources.
• Report on sales activities and progress towards goals, providing insights and solutions to the executive committee (EXCO).
• Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to shape company strategy.
• Represent the organization at industry events and conferences.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activity.
• Identify and acquire new market opportunities.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement and innovation within the sales team.
• Collaborate with marketing to identify and exploit market opportunities.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance of the sales team.
• Initiate and nurture relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and business partners.

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in the renewable energy industry and within a B2C environment.
• Proven track record of driving significant sales growth and exceeding targets.
• Strong strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• High degree of professionalism and integrity.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
• Deep understanding of the South African solar energy market and broader energy landscape.
• Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.

• R50 000 - R80 000 per month.
