The role requires team leadership and development as well as strategic thinking with strong managerial skills and a passion for driving social change.RequirementsNGO Programme Management experience of 2 years essentialDrivers licenseEnglish speakingManagement of a team of 5 staff membersStakeholder developmentAvailable on SaturdaysProject managementReport writingDegree required or 5 years NGO experience.Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Outlook and Word.Time management skills.Communication SkillsFinancial experienceDonor management and fundraising skills.Open to office base working in DurbanvilleInterested in Monitoring and evaluation.Excellent communication skillsHighly passionate about education and making a change.Team worker and contributes to a kindness caring working environment.Self- motivated- must have the ability to prioritise workload and continue without instructions at time.Leadership skills and youth development passionDutiesIncluding but not limited to;General Committee Circle commitments and obligations:Contribute to development (new ideas), refinement (best practises) and execution of business strategies.Build and contribute to organisational culture.Preparing and presentation of program outcomes to board of trusteesProgram Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement new programs when neededExpand program to new areas based on research outcomes.Manage the delivery of current programsIdentify emerging trends, needs, and opportunities in the sector to inform program development.Collaborate with senior management to align programmatic goals with overall organizational strategy.Program Implementation:Oversee the execution of all program activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Ensure that program fulfil the framework and include elements of academics, psychosocial, digital and career aspectsMonitor and evaluate program performance, making adjustments as needed to maximize impact and effectiveness.Management and leadership of Team:Provide leadership and guidance to program staff, including, development plans for staff, training, and performance management of team members.Hold staff accountable, providing feedback and recognition for delivery and outcomes of programPartnership and Donor DevelopmentCultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and programme stakeholders.Collaborate with external partners to leverage resources, expertise, and networks for program implementation.Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, and other events to promote collaboration and advocacy efforts.Manage and nurture donor relationships.Manage volunteering opportunities.Prepare regular reports for donors, highlighting program achievements and outcomes.Financial ManagementScrutinise, approve requisitions timeously.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: R30 000,00 - R32 000,00 per month
