This is your opportunity to join a fast-growing MedTech business committed to revolutionizing the industry, doing right by its employees and customers, and making a significant impact on the future of healthcare.Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Talent to lead our Talent Acquisition efforts, with a particular focus on sourcing and hiring doctors who prescribe medicinal cannabis in Australia. This role is critical for scaling our business, as these doctors are the key to bringing more members into our community. The Head of Talent will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that not only attracts top talent but also addresses the unique challenges of recruiting in the highly regulated medicinal cannabis industry.In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership, hiring managers, and the marketing team to identify staffing needs, build a robust candidate pipeline, and implement innovative marketing strategies that reach more doctors. Your role will involve developing a strategic approach to recruitment channels, innovating candidate engagement methods, and ensuring that our team of doctors grows in alignment with our business objectives.Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Talent Acquisition:Develop and implement a strategic talent acquisition plan focused on sourcing and hiring doctors who prescribe medicinal cannabis, ensuring alignment with the companys growth objectives.Identify and engage with medical professionals through diverse sourcing channels, including LinkedIn, specialized medical job boards, professional networks, and industry events.2. Doctor Recruitment and Liaison:Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors and healthcare professionals, understanding their needs and motivations to ensure a high-quality recruitment process.Act as the primary liaison between the company and prescribing doctors, facilitating their onboarding and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction with our platform.3. Collaboration with Marketing:Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies aimed at reaching more doctors and increasing their engagement with our platform.Collaborate on targeted campaigns, content creation, and outreach efforts that highlight the benefits of joining our network of prescribing doctors.4. Team Leadership and Development:Lead and oversee the Talent Acquisition team, providing training, coaching, and support to ensure they meet their goals and contribute effectively to the companys objectives.Direct and motivate the team to achieve KPIs, ensuring enhanced service delivery and continuous process optimization.5. Innovative Engagement:Innovate candidate engagement through targeted email and SMS campaigns, video recruitment adverts, and other creative methods to attract top-tier medical professionals.Develop and maintain a talent pipeline by engaging with doctors and other candidates through social media, networking platforms, and industry-specific groups.6. Process Management and Optimization:Collaborate with the business to audit Talent Acquisition services, driving constant process improvement to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of recruitment efforts.Maintain detailed records of all recruitment activities, including interview notes, candidate assessments, and related documentation, ensuring transparency with key stakeholders.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in talent acquisition or a similar role, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity. Experience in the healthcare or alternative medicine industry is highly desirable.Medical Recruitment Expertise: Proven experience in recruiting medical professionals, with a strong understanding of the challenges and regulations involved.Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of Talent Acquisition professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Strategic Thinking: Ability to anticipate and understand the needs of a constantly growing and adapting business, particularly in a highly regulated industry.Marketing Collaboration: Experience working closely with marketing teams to develop and implement strategies that effectively reach and engage target audiences, particularly medical professionals.Innovative Engagement: Experience with innovative advertising and engagement methods, including email/SMS campaigns and video recruitment content.Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with medical professionals and other stakeholders.Educational Background: A Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
