Job SummaryOur client is seeking a Head of Warehouse that will manage all aspects of the Warehouse streamlining processes and optimizing inventory management. This will be a permanent opportunity based in JHB East.The Key Responsibilities for this Role Include

  • Implement solutions and foster a safety-focused culture
  • Warehouse and Operations Management including the planning, monitoring and managing of daily warehouse operations
  • Lead a team and manage performance
  • Oversee accurate inventory management, cycle counts, bin audits, stock adjustments, and ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing losses
  • Ensuring Safety and Compliance
  • Budget and Cost Control
  • Oversee logistic functions, including transportation and vehicle fleet management as well as the maintenance of equipment and warehouse conditions
Qualification
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • SHEQ Certification
Experience
  • 8+ years' experience in a Head of Warehouse role within the FMCG warehouse or packhouse environment
  • Proficient in Warehouse Procedures and Policies
  • Experience with Inventory, Budget and Cost Control
  • Experience with Logistics and Equipment Management
