Focused on meeting the unique needs of its diverse clients, SC assists companies in creating and delivering customised employee benefits solutions, including the collection of premiums and communication to fund members.The overall purpose of the role:Ensure that all new business is on boarded in accordance with the relevant legislation and product requirements while keeping all relevant stakeholders appraised, implementation of new legislative and product requirements into processes and incorporating of new legislative and product requirements into client facing documentation. Reporting on new business onboarding activities to be included in relevant MANCO and EXCO reports. Owner of all clients facing documentation for Sanlam Umbrella Solutions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all new clients are onboarded in accordance with product and legislative requirements and timeously handed over to the new business team for implementation on the prevailing system.
  • Ensure that all new business processes have the necessary controls in place.
  • Operational governance with the new business processes (FICA, PDDs, FAIS etc) thus ensuring best practice compliance monitoring and reporting.
  • Act as project manager when required to drive compliance with new legislative and implementation of product changes, enhancements, and new developments. Liaise and convey meetings with necessary stakeholders to facilitate this function.
  • Provide different monthly reports to stakeholders (Manco, EXCO, VNB, Finance, Digital, Operations and Client Solutions)
  • Custodian of all client facing documentation to ensure that all product content is updated, relevant and in line with Group, Product and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities (continues)
  • Ensure that content is published timeously on the appropriate platforms.
  • Adjust processes as necessary upon identification of risks or potential risks.
  • Attend and be involved in the various committee meetings and forums.
  • Act as liaison between product and implementations team and the client relationship managers and client solutions.
  • People management for the Product Support team in terms of setting clear direction to team members in respect of team goals, and outputs, mentoring and resource management.
Qualification and Experience:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in managing a team will be advantageous
  • 5 - 10 years' experience in Employee Benefits / Retirement fund administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
