Requirements



A BSc / BTech in Chemical / Civil Engineering or other

relevant qualification.



Registration or eligibility to register forthwith with the

applicable professional body (e.g. ECSA) required.



Proven track record of working within a municipal wastewater

treatment environment.



Proven track record of working within a structured quality

management environment.



A minimum 8 years' combined experience with wastewater

treatment and wastewater process operation, Green



Drop program / audit experience, health & safety as well as



maintaining an Integrated Quality Management System in a



related field.



In-depth knowledge and understanding of applicable national

and local government legislation relating to the municipal



water and sanitation business.



A valid Code B driver's licence

Key Performance Areas



Developing, implementing, maintaining and continuously

improving an Integrated Business Improvement and Quality



Management System.



Utilization, productivity and performance management of

personnel within the Section.



Budget preparation and management. Project and contract management. Stakeholder engagement and Service Level Agreements. Operational data management. Safety, Health, Environment, Risk incl. Hazard Identification

and Risk Assessment.



Green Drop management Regulator liaison. Applying for, reviewing, amending, maintaining, and

monitoring for all licenses and permits issued to treatment



works by the respective Regulator.
