Positions Available1DescriptionAnova Health Institute in South Africa has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as a Health Communications Expert. The ANOVAAPACE Program (Gauteng and Western Cape) and the Hanyani Bophelo Program (Limpopo) both aim to accelerate and sustain epidemic control in the target districts through a data-driven, people-centered and evidence-informed approach. Critical to the project's success is addressing gaps in treatment literacy among people receiving HIV treatment and caregivers of children on treatment. Anova supports distribution of treatment literacy materials and communication campaigns.The PCRV will provide support to the Limpopo team to develop and implement treatment literacy campaigns, including the development and testing of treatment literacy materials (video, print, online, radio, etc.) - ensuring locally appropriate messaging around U=U, viral load testing, HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis, etc. The PCRV will also create systems to track completion of activities and monitor and report on results of the capacity development project.Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in South Africa together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.Request TypePCR000 PCR VolunteerPostSouth AfricaPartner Organization NameAnova Health InstituteRequired Skills
