Health Safety Environment Co-ordinator (HSE)Port Elizabeth - Eastern CapeOur client in the automotive manufacturing industry require an experienced HSE to cover their plants in Port Elizabeth. To implement, maintain and improve Health, Safety and Environmental systems; processes and procedures to comply with local and international standards in order to minimise the level of accidents, incidents and to mitigate risk to the production environment.Responsibilities include;Maintenance and implementation of HSEE policies and proceduresDrive and co-ordinate Total Safety CultureImplementation and maintain ISO14001 and OHSA 18001Internal HSEE audits (conduct, track, manage)Co-ordination and Management of HSEE Committee MeetingsFacilitating statutory appointmentsHSEE Inductions (new employees and contractors)Implement and facilitate emergency preparedness proceduresManagement and support for IODsRequirements;Matric (NQF 4)Qualification: Health and Safety relatedNEBOSH / SAMTRAC (Advantageous)Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental Standards (ISO14001/OHSA 18001)5 years experience in Health and Safety in an automotive environmentComputer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
