• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures specific to the ceramic manufacturing environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on best practices for safety and health.
• Investigate and report on accidents and incidents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Collaborate with management to create and maintain safety programs and emergency response plans.
• Stay updated with the latest safety regulations and industry trends to ensure our practices remain compliant and effective.

Qualifications:

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree or relevant tertiary education in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably within the manufacturing or ceramics industry.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, procedures, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.
• Certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is a plus.
