We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Healthcare Administrator to provide essential support to the Healthcare Account Executive in managing employer group healthcare portfolios. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining accurate data, and facilitating communication related to healthcare benefits.Key Responsibilities:Administrative Support:

  • Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks related to employer group portfolios.
  • Maintain and update records to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employer groups and employees, addressing inquiries about healthcare benefits.
  • Schedule meetings, wellness events, and presentations.
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner and escalate complex issues as necessary.
Policy and Claims Management:
  • Assist with the onboarding of new employees onto healthcare plans, including plan selection and registration.
  • Track and follow up on claims, amendments, and group healthcare plan updates.
  • Ensure timely processing of new applications or any changes to healthcare coverage.
Reporting and Data Management:
  • Maintain a well-organised and secure database of client information while adhering to confidentiality protocols.
Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Collaborate with insurers, healthcare providers, and other third-party service providers to resolve issues and ensure effective operational processes.
  • Support the development and implementation of client-specific healthcare strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • NQF5 qualification and RE5 certification
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare administration within the financial services industry
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and at least one other South African official language
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office Suite)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
