Job Summary POSITION: Healthcare Manager PERMANENT MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: xe2x96xba Registered Nurse with a minimum of three years experience in a managerial position in the healthcare industry. (Management experience within the retirement industry beneficial.) xe2x96xba Experience in Alzheimers Dementia xe2x96xba Knowledge and practical experience of the professional requirements and procedures required as stipulated in the Scope of Practice of the South African Nursing Council. COMPETENCIES MANAGING THE JOB: xe2x96xba Professional approach & appearance. xe2x96xba Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Afrikaans Excellent interpersonal relationships. xe2x96xba Strong administrative and organizational skills. xe2x96xba Fully computer literate. xe2x96xba Must be able to work under pressure. xe2x96xba Must be able to work at a fast pace when required. xe2x96xba Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, and independently. xe2x96xba Comfortable with all nursing procedures, including Intravenous Therapy. COMPETENCIES MANAGING SELF: xe2x96xba Excellent time management skills xe2x96xba Organised and systematic MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: xe2x96xba Manage and coordinate all healthcare services offered in the retirement estate, including Primary Healthcare, Assisted Living, Homebased Care, and later Frail- and Memory Care units. xe2x96xba Manage all staff working at the retirement estate. xe2x96xba Quality assurance of healthcare services. xe2x96xba Liaise with residents, potential residents, family members, representatives, and estate management. xe2x96xba Monthly management reporting WORKING HOURS: Mondays to Fridays 08:00 to 17:00 or 07:00 to 16:00 (depending on operational requirements)Allmed Healthcare ProfessionalsRecruiter
