Johannesburg NorthSalary: R520 to R620k per annum CTCEducation and Experience required

  • Matric (tertiary qualifications an advantage)
  • Strong computer literacy skills with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Prior administration and organisational work experience that includes planning and reporting
  • Knowledge of academic progression under the IEB and NSC system.
  • Knowledge of relevant school policies, procedures and systems.
  • Proficiency in digital dictation and transcription.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent numeracy skills xe2x80x93 calculations and reconciliations
  • Demonstrable ability to work quickly and under pressure, an eye for detail, and communicate on the phone and in person professionally.
  • Experience with Admin / Database software applications eg Salesforce
Roles and ResponsibilitiesGeneral
  • Serve as the primary contact for the Deputy Head of Extramural and Deputy Head of Student Affairs, using discretion and diplomacy to direct staff, visitors, students, and telephone inquiries to the appropriate person.
  • Oversee the management of diaries and preparation of meeting documents, prioritizing tasks and coordinating as needed.
  • Proactively manage workflow, including handling telephone calls, messages, redirections, and correspondence.
  • Deliver high-quality secretarial support with efficient and accurate processing of documents, emails, and other communications.
  • Maintain and organize planners and files related to extramural and student administration.
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, and visas as required.
  • Facilitate timely and effective communication among relevant teams and individuals.
  • Carry out comprehensive administrative duties, including preparing agendas, taking and transcribing confidential meeting minutes, distributing relevant documents, and tracking and updating action points.
Perform daily rotational duties for reception work.
  • Cultivate and sustain the tripartite partnership, ensuring effective communication among parents, tutors, college staff, and students
