We are now accepting applications for a Hostess (Restaurant) xe2x80x93 someone with drive and passion for the industry and with the ability to maintain the Leading Hotel of the Worlds standardsThe ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills and must be friendly and guest centric.A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent, with 1 year experience as a Waitron or Hostess in a 4* or 5* establishment is required. An F&B hospitality certificate in and knowledge of Micros and Guest Connect are advantageous.Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Warmly and graciously welcome all guests on arrival;
- Manage bookings and table plan and accommodate all special seating requests;
- Accurately record reservations;
- Record Sunday lunch data base with all necessary details;
- Cash Up and banking for the evening.
