Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of hot dishes including meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure efficient service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hot kitchen station and equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of hot kitchen ingredients.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Hot Kitchen Chef or Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel or lodge environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hot food preparation techniques and culinary trends.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail in food preparation, plating, and garnishing.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Requirements:
  • Passion for culinary arts and dedication to delivering exceptional hot dishes.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
