Hotel Assistant Bar - Cape TownFull job description:Key Responsibilities:Assist the Bar Manager in all aspects of bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar areaPrepare and serve a variety of drinks and cocktails to guests in a timely and friendly mannerEnsure that all guests are satisfied with their drinks and address any concerns or complaintsAssist with training new bar staff and ensure that all team members adhere to company standards and policiesMaintain a positive and professional attitude at all times and provide exceptional customer service to all guestsFollow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean working environmentAssist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and ordering supplies as neededCollaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the bar and overall guest satisfactionQualifications:Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or cruise ship settingStrong knowledge of different types of drinks and cocktailsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to multitaskFlexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certificationsMust be physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 poundsIf you are a passionate and dedicated individual with a love for hospitality and providing exceptional service, we want to hear from you!
