Hotel Assistant Inventory - Cape TownFull job description:Position: Hotel Assistant InventoryKey Responsibilities:Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of all hotel supplies and amenitiesMonitor and track usage of supplies to ensure proper levels are maintainedPlace orders for supplies as needed and maintain relationships with vendorsReceive and inspect all deliveries to ensure quality and accuracyWork closely with other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of suppliesAssist in the preparation of reports and analysis of inventory dataImplement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize waste and lossTrain and supervise other crew members on proper inventory management proceduresQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework preferred1-2 years of experience in inventory management or related fieldStrong organizational and time-management skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management softwareMust be able to lift and move heavy objectsPrevious experience in the hospitality industry or on a cruise ship is a plusWorking Place:Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa
