Job Description

We are seeking 5 x Housekeepers for our 34-bedroom hotel. You must have a keen eye for detail while handling vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sweeping duties. Our hotel staff prides itself on providing outstanding hospitality to our guests, and your housekeeping services are a significant part of this.


The Housekeeper will report directly to the Housekeeping Manager at the Hotel.


Duties and responsibilities:


Clean and tidy up hotel rooms, hallways, patios/balcony and outside furniture Dust and polish various surfaces and furniture inside the rooms, entrance , bathroom and patios outside Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop floors and stoep areas Empty trash bins Change linens and towels and replace toiletries Clean windows Wipe dust from shelving/cabinets Wipe skirting, headboard and other furniture with damp cloth Clean coffee machines Collaborate with the housekeeping team to complete the daily cleaning schedule Restock cleaning supplies in the hand cart before you depart from duty Report any issues that require maintenance Hand in checklist of lost and found and or defects in rooms Execute and other tasks that is needed as per operational procedures from time to time. Reports missing / found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisor and managers. Responds at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues. Handles any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed. The above description reflects on the general details considered to describe the principal functions of the job.

A must requirement is having 2+ years luxury hospitality experience!
