House Keeping Supervisor

Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring all areas of the lodge are impeccably clean and well-maintained.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service in line with the lodges high standards.
  • Assign duties, allocate shifts, and monitor the performance of housekeeping staff.
  • Manage stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or requests promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front-of-house, to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a luxury lodge, hotel, or similar high-end hospitality environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a team and prioritize tasks.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to cleanliness and the ability to maintain a high standard of presentation.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and guests effectively.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
