Housekeeping Supervisor - Cape TownFull job descriptionITC Hospitality Group is a fast-growing CBD-based and privately owned property letting and management company that has been in the industry for 20 years. The Company currently represents 4 and 5-star graded and serviced apartments located within the Cape Town CBD, Foreshore and De Waterkant areas. We are currently recruiting for an energetic, well-organised Housekeeping Supervisor.Key Responsibilities:Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasksOversee staff on a daily basisCheck rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanlinessSchedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absenceEstablish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standardsMotivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the jobRespond to customer complaints and special requestsMonitor and replenish cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach and rubber glovesParticipate in large cleaning projects as requiredEnsure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areasRequirements:Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar roleHands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizationsAbility to use industrial cleaning equipment and productsExcellent organizational and team management skillsStamina to handle the physical demands of the jobFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekendsPreferred Qualifications:Grade 12/Matric certificateTertiary qualification is advantageous2+ years of experience in a similar roleBenefits:Competitive salaryProfessional development opportunitiesApplication Details:To apply send your CV, head and shoulder photo, qualifications, and references to: hr@inthecity.co.zaNote: If you have not heard back from us after two (2) weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
