We are now seeking an HR Administrator to join our People Team and provide HR support to the on-site staff at a prestigious residential estate. This is a fully remote role based in South Africa, offering a great opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic and growing team.
About the Role
As HR Administrator, you'll support a team of approximately 30-35 block staff working on-site at the residential estate in London. You'll handle the full range of HR administration--from onboarding and compliance to lifecycle support and HR systems updates.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working independently, while also collaborating effectively with colleagues in the UK. You'll play a key role in helping to ensure our HR operations run smoothly and our staff receive high-quality support.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration & Compliance
Maintain accurate employee records and digital personnel files.
Draft and issue contracts, offer letters, and HR-related documents.
Assist with compliance documentation and ensure GDPR alignment.
Update HR systems, trackers, and internal databases.
Handle confidential information with care and professionalism.
Onboarding & Recruitment Support
Coordinate onboarding paperwork and system access for new starters.
Ensure documentation is received, verified, and correctly filed.
Support the UK team with interview scheduling where needed.
Track probation milestones and assist with onboarding check-ins.
Employee Lifecycle Support
Monitor and record probation, leave, sickness, and absences.
Assist with offboarding processes and exit interviews.
Track training completion, performance reviews, and pay changes.
Support employee relations documentation and note-taking in formal cases.
Team Collaboration & Communication
Liaise regularly with the UK-based HR and Operations teams.
Attend HR meetings and contribute to process improvements.
Support staff engagement activities and wellbeing initiatives.
Prepare reports and trackers for review by the People Team.
What We're Looking For
Prior experience in HR or administrative support.
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Willingness to learn UK HR practices and compliance standards.
Desirable
A recognised HR qualification or certification.
Experience in residential property, construction, or facilities sectors.

Salary & Benefits
Salary: R17,000- R25,000 per month depending on experience.
Contract: Permanent, remote role.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 to 18:00 SAST.

Location: Must be based in South Africa.
Internet Access: A stable and reliable connection, including during load-shedding.
