What you'll have done beforeMinimum Requirements
  • NQF Level 7 (Degree in Data Science or HR/ Business or equivalent)
  • 5 years experience in HR Value Chain with knowledge of relevant HR Processes and data analysis across HR Functions
  • Proficient creator of Data Dashboards via Visualization tools (Power BI)
  • Experience in analysing HR Trends & Predictive Analysis
  • Proficient in SAP HR Systems, Reporting, Database experience
  • Experience in leading HR Analytics projects and insights
Advantageous:
  • Technical knowledge of enterprise data warehousing and data sources
What you'll be doingHR METRICS REPORTING & ANALYTICS
  • Collect, analyse data and apply measurements to determine the value and effectiveness of HR initiatives and provide insights on areas as turnover, return on investment on projects and costs expenses per employee
  • Develop actionable, proactive metrics that drive forecasting capabilities and HR strategic insights
  • Generate reports based on selected HR metrics and perform analysis of relevant HR metrics and uncover trends in the data
  • Proactively identify HR trends through analytics support by providing people metrics, predictive indices, reporting trends, forecasts and studying information to enable strategic HR business partnering to achieve organizational goals
  • Track and report metrics in order to provide visibility to the team and stakeholders and to ensure data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Manages workforce analytics to ensure that relevant metrics and trends are identified and reported to key stakeholders, HR and to continuously improve metrics reporting processes and standards and cost optimization
  • Collaborate with HR teams in provision of analytics and in support of larger HR initiatives/ functions
  • (Talent Management, Succession Planning, Performance Management etc.) by consolidating data and preparing reports
  • Utilize statistical and predictive modeling techniques including benchmarking to forecast HR-related outcomes, such as turnover, performance, and workforce planning.
  • Create compelling data visualizations to communicate HR data insights in a clear and effective manner to senior management
PROJECT DELIVERY & SUPPORT
  • Collaborate with other departments within the organization, such as Finance, Operations and VIVO Energy, to ensure Business Manpower Planning & vacancies and resource costs are aligned with overall organizational/shareholder Manpower plans & Budgets
  • Maintain and manage a model for manpower planning & budgeting with planners
  • Lead and mentor a team of HR analysts, providing guidance and support
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR data analysis processes and implement changes to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Possess strong technical skills in HR data analysis, including proficiency in data visualization tools, and database management systems
RESEARCH & BENCHMARKING
  • Conduct research and benchmark on HR analytics to investigate new trends, risks and opportunities in HR Analytics space and provide a report that clearly demonstrate the implications of these trends with recommendations so as to ensure HR effectiveness
  • Conduct strategic research and industry benchmarking and key surveys on practices and trends and serve as the domain expert for human capital analytics that supports the HR function and development of divisional workforce plans in support of Engen wide plans
  • Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in HR analytics and data science.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and the adoption of new tools and methodologies
