HR & Accounts Administrator - Construction
Bellville, Cape Town
Salary: R17 000 basic (negotiable based on experience)A small, established construction company based in Bellville is seeking an experienced Administrator to assist with HR and accounts functions. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands the demands of the construction industry and can handle a variety of duties across finance, HR, and general administration.Minimum Requirements:Previous experience in the construction industry is essentialStrong working knowledge of creditors and debtorsFamiliarity with BIBC submissions and subcontractor contractsProficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)Excellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and meet monthly deadlinesKey Responsibilities:Process and reconcile supplier invoices, delivery notes, and purchase ordersCapture stock, fuel, and credit card transactionsMatch and authorize invoices for payment and prepare supplier reconsHandle creditor queries and maintain accurate records of supplier accountsGenerate debtor invoices and follow up on collectionsPerform monthly reconciliations for creditors, material cost reports, and accrual accountsPrepare employee time allocations and reconcile wage loansSubmit BIBC documentation and manage subcontractor contractsAssist with general admin duties, filing, and switchboard reliefEnsure month-end deadlines are met for all invoicing and reportingThis is a full-time, in-office role for someone who enjoys variety, is process-driven, and takes initiative to keep operations running smoothly.
