What you will do:

Employment Transfer Activities:Actively supporting employment transfer activities for multiple African countries, managing operational tasks from the release of transfer offers through the full employee lifecycle. Oversee and ensure smooth execution of the transfer offer release, onboarding, orientation, and integration of transferred employees. Advise stakeholders on appropriate set-up and implementation of employee benefits and compensation structures. Coordinate closely with local and regional teams to ensure compliance with HR policies, employment law, and contractual obligations. Serve as the primary HR operational contact, addressing and resolving employee queries and concerns promptly throughout the initial onboarding phase and beyond. Monitor and track employee engagement and retention, identifying potential issues early and recommending proactive solutions. Support the GEP HR PMO Transformation Lead with operational input to enhance employee experience and program efficiency


Business as usual:Develop employee policies for Africa region in line with GEP global policies. Oversee and administer performance management process and activities, including running Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and disciplinary actions when required. Depending on case, manage administrative processes related to employee data, documentation, HR systems updates, and reporting. Lead employee communications activities (local townhalls, HR newsletters etc). Monitor and track employee engagement and retention, identifying potential issues early and recommending proactive solutions.. Proactively identify risks and escalate concerns promptly to relevant stakeholders.

What you should bring:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. 5-7 years HR operational/generalist experience, ideally across multiple African countries. Proven expertise in managing employment transfers, onboarding, and employee integration. Strong knowledge of African employment laws, HR compliance, and employee relations. Skilled in performance management, including handling Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs). Proficiency in data management, Excel, and PowerPoint for data and reporting tasks. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to proactively identify risks and recommend solutions for employee engagement and retention. Experience creating regional employee policies aligned with global standards. * Fluent in English; additional regional languages are beneficial.
