REQUIREMENTS

• Matric, Bachelors degree Honours and Masters highly advantageous
• Min 5 years of experience in HR, talent management /recruitment and HR advisory experience
• Experience working with multiple markets and can adapt to different culture traits
• Strong business acumen and experience working with senior management teams
• Proven track record in a middle to senior HR role
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of HR to take ownership of responsibilities to support HR Director
• Proficient in MS Office, Word, advanced Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - English (Read, write, speak) Any other languages that can be spoken would be a plus
• Analytical team player who is proactive and responds quickly to requests and needs
• Independent self-managed worker who is eager to work hard and grow their skills
• Experience working in Africa is highly advantageous

DUTIES

• Manage recruitment from initial stages to full process from interview stage to offer
• Collaborating with management requirements
• Induction and onboarding meetings for new starters and follow up through probation
• Support managers on HR advice where needed
• Exit interviews and feedback to relevant management
• Advisory for management on team development and career development for employees
• Manage and review HR metrics, and provide monthly and quarterly updates
• Manage the training portfolio and ensure all plans are forwarded to management
• Support with other ad hoc functions in the Team with regards to Employee Relations, Compliance, and administrative functions
• Plan and execute internal communications to enhance employee engagement
• Manage career talent for future requirements from colleges and universities
