National tracking company is seeking to employ an intermediate HR Generalist / consultant to join their busy teamThis is not a senior role, but the successful candidate will have experience in current HR policies and will work together to develop and implement effective HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with organizational goals and comply with legal requirements.As this is not a senior role, ideally the successful will reside within the area Centurion / Irene, purely for travelling and costs purposesKey Responsibilities:Provide expert HR advice on a variety of topics including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, retention, and compliance.Conduct HR audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure legal compliance.Develop and implement HR policies and proceduresRecruitment and Talent Management:Assist in developing and executing effective recruitment strategies.Support the development of talent management and succession planning initiatives.Provide guidance on job descriptions, interview processes, and candidate selection.Conducting interviews.Employee Relations and Engagement:Advise on handling employee relations issues such as conflict resolution,disciplinary actions, and grievances.Develop strategies to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.Conduct employee surveys and analyze results to recommend improvements.Conduct Disciplinary Hearings.Conducting exit interviews.Training and Development:Design and deliver training programs on various HR topics.Identify training needs and recommend appropriate development programs.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure HR practices comply with all relevant employment laws and regulations.Advise on risk management strategies related to HR practices.Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and best practices.Performance Management:Assist in developing performance management systems.Provide guidance on setting performance goals and conducting appraisals.Support the implementation of performance improvement plans.General:Day to day admin when and where required.Assisting and running with IOD,UIF claimsIntroduce approved wellness programme.Any other responsibility deemed fit by Management
