:Our client is seeking an experienced HR / Health & Safety Officer to join the Krugersdorp, Gauteng teamxc2xb7 Administer HR policies, procedures, and compliance with labour legislationxc2xb7 Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes.xc2xb7 Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and performance management documentation.xc2xb7 Support payroll administration by ensuring accurate attendance and leave records.xc2xb7 Assist with disciplinary and grievance procedures in compliance with company policies and labour laws.xc2xb7 Coordinate employee wellness initiatives and engagement activities.xc2xb7 Ensure implementation of Employment Equity and Skills Development plans.xc2xb7 Handle workplace conflict resolution and mediate employee relations issuexc2xb7 Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).xc2xb7 Conduct regular risk assessments and implement necessary corrective measures.xc2xb7 Organise health and safety training and awareness programs for employees.xc2xb7 Ensure the provision and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.xc2xb7 Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, compiling reports and recommending preventive actions.xc2xb7 Conduct safety audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.xc2xb7 Maintain records of health and safety incidents, ensuring timely reporting to relevant authorities.xc2xb7 Act as the primary contact for emergency preparedness and response planning.Requirementsxc2xb7 Grade 12xc2xb7 Human Resources qualification preferred,xc2xb7 Minimum of 3-5 years experience in an HR and Health & Safety role.xc2xb7 Payroll / wages experience,xc2xb7 Experience dealing with Unions,xc2xb7 Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and health & safety regulations.xc2xb7 Certification in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g., SAMTRAC, NEBOSH) is advantageous.xc2xb7 Proficient in MS Office,
