Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail oriented HR intern to join our Human Resource Team.This internship offers hands- on experience in various HR functions allowing you to gain valuable skills and insights into the HR field.Main purpose of job:Performing HR administrative tasks and supporting daily activities of the consulting and recruitment teams.Key performance areasRecruitment- Create job specifications and advertisements- Advertising positions on various recruitment channels- Preparing CVs- Liaising with candidates- Organising interviews- Conducting screening check- Assisting with employment contract documentationConsulting- Supporting the consulting team on various aspects such as preparing job descriptions, performance contracts, presentations- Conducting research- Setting up meetings- General HR administrative tasks as requestedGeneral HR and administrative support- Assist with posting website content- Record keeping- Ad-hoc tasks as requested- Online training on SABPP Professional Practice & Governance Standards, case studies, assessmentsDocument ManagementHR Documentation - Knowledge of:- How to draft, file, and store HR documents in the appropriate share-drive, like employment contracts, performance reviews, and termination paperwork.- Ensuring confidentiality of sensitive documents, both digital and physical.JOB SPECIFICATIONQualificationsNational Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in HR or related fieldExperience- Theoretical and/or practical experience in human resource management and/or development.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Experience in MS Office, i.e. MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Outlook and MS Teams.- Experience in Advertising on different advertising platforms, i.e. LinkedIn, Career Junction, etc.Knowledge- Knowledge of human resource management- Knowledge of legislation in the field of human resource management and labour relations- Knowledge of SABPP Professional Practice & Governance Standards is preferred but training will be providedTechnical competencies- HR managementCompetent- Employee RelationsBasic- Performance ManagementBasic- Basic Labour Law Knowledge- Familiarity with Employment Laws: Understanding the basics of labour laws and employment practices in South Africa (e.g., BCEA, EEA).
