The HR Manager will be responsible for the enhancement and implementation of human resource policies and procedures as well as coordinating human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labour relations, industrial relations benefits, training, employee services and supervision of payroll administration.

HR Management:
Managing HR team and full HR and payroll function.
Ensuring culture integration and globalisation standards are implemented and upheld.
Oversee and assist with the cost-effective recruitment and selection of staff including verification of references, qualifications, testimonials and ensuring required assessments are carried out prior to employment.
Oversee the Onboarding of newly appointed employees, including issuing employment contracts, ensuring the required documents are completed by the employee and submitting employee benefit and inhouse system applications.
Conducting an effective induction programme for all newly appointed and transferred employees.
Assisting management in monitoring progress of new employees and ensuring staff appraisals are carried out on a regular basis.
Designing and drafting necessary policies to accommodate company/employee needs.
Ensuring that the HR policies and procedures are updated and strictly adhered to.Payroll:
Overseeing full Payroll function
Assisting HR Administrator with employee enquiries, e.g. medical aid, provident fund, etc.
Monthly reports and statutory returns such as UIF, PAYE, SDL, Workers compensation etc.
Managing and monitoring of all leave and absenteeism.
Maintaining payroll setup on payroll system. Ensure all updates are loaded, backups made, IRP5 & other year end/annual processes completed
Providing cost and payroll information as required e.g. External Auditors, SARS (including the biannual submission of IRP 5s to SARS), MIBCO, etcER/IR:
Keeping Management informed regarding Human Resource matters and working closely with Management team to ensure company strategies are aligned with staff development.
Monitoring staff welfare and interactions and provide counselling/mediation as required.
Ensuring employee incident control is documented and timeously reported.
Driving performance management within the HOD team.
Advising and assisting management with labour related matters.
Ensuring all MIBCO and Union regulations are adhered to.
Coordinating of grievance and disciplinary procedures and ensuring all relevant documentation is kept on record.Management Reporting:
Creating and managing annual HR budgets.
Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting on all HR related processes, procedures and employee matters to Senior management and HQCompany/employee initiatives: Driving Performance measures like KPI and development programmes. Ensuring that identified people are sent on appropriate training courses and necessary succession planning is done. Driving Mentorship programmes to allow for high level staff development Develop and maintain employee development programmes. Minimum requirements: Matric & post-grad qualification in HR or IR management; 3-5 years experience in a similar role Skills: Proven management skills, Effective time management, Conflict resolution skills, Experience with a similar culture would be advantageousSalary - +- R600 000
