Currently we are looking for an

HR Manager

in Cape Town, South Africa to be part of our global team working together towards our vision -

Improving our future.

As our HR Manager you will be responsible and ensure the implementation of an employee-orientated; high performance culture and work environment that emphasizes empowerment, equality, productivity, and alignment towards implementation of global strategies and local priorities. The role will also need Project Management responsibilities as they execute and manage HR-related projects that improve or expand HR functions within the organization. They are responsible for overseeing initiatives that impact employee experience, compliance, recruitment, and training. They collaborate with the HR team to ensure projects are aligned with organizational goals and operate efficiently.
Within defined scope (site, function, country etc.) the HR Manager will contribute in all areas of HR and HR Project Management and play a key role to ensure quality and efficiency.

Main responsibilities

HR Business Partnering



Aligning HR strategies, policies, and programs with the overall business strategy and objectives Working directly with business leaders and managers to understand their needs and challenges, then providing tailored HR solutions Developing and implementing talent management strategies to ensure the organization has the right skills and capabilities Supporting organizational change initiatives by communicating effectively with employees and helping them navigate transitions Analyzing HR data and metrics to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of HR programs, and provide insights for decision-making

Project Management

Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables; creating detailed plans, timelines, and budgets; and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget Leading and coordinating project team members, including HR professionals and external vendors Progress Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards Communicating project status to stakeholders and senior management; developing and maintaining project documentation Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices to project planning and execution Compliance: Ensuring projects comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Ensure timely recruitment and onboarding of required level and quality of new hires Provide appropriate support and regulatory compliance for relocations and work permitting matters Performance Development, Training and Development: Contribute in building a global and holistic performance and competence driven culture in region Collaborate with line managers and global HR towards competency building, mapping and succession planning Compensation and Benefits: Ensure implementation and development of compensation and benefits in region based on corporate guidelines and within the thinking of total rewards Employee Relations: Contribute to a fair and motivational working environment also by taken preventive action and initiative Managing absences, leave, sickness and grievances Guide and assist managers in disciplinary cases Employee Wellness: Manage the implementation of employee wellness initiatives Research and recommend employee wellness initiatives for retention purposes Track, monitor and report on employee wellness initiatives within the organisation

Qualifications and competencies:

Honour's degree in Human Resources with HR Module(s) Proven experience (10+ years) in Human Resources, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment/matrix organization Extensive exposure to working on HR Projects Worked Internationally - preferred IT Knowledge - familiar with e.g. SharePoint and MS Exchange Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative Organized and methodical - structured approach
