We are looking for a HR Manager to lead the HR team working at a luxury hospitality portfolio.The ideal candidate will be a professional person, capable of working in a 5-star hospitality environment as part of a small team, supporting and interacting with staff.Main ResponsibilitiesOverseeing and ensuring that the primary functions of HR within the business are providedSupply strategic HR input and direction to senior managementImplementation of HR Strategy and Policies for all related companiesSupply direction and assistance to all Managers within the business entitiesEffective management of recruitment drives and initiativesPromote staff recognition initiatives, retention of staff and Employer of Choice principlesImplementing and utilizing of Performance management tools and measurement structuresEstablishing of Developmental and industry-specific training plans and its roll-outCompiling of Workplace Skills Plan and Annual ReportingEnsuring that Talent Management & People continuity and contingencies are in placeCreating, developing and maintaining of organisational structure chartsImplementing of Career development and growth opportunities for employeesMaintaining platforms for department processes & proceduresOverseeing the creating of SOPs and workflow chartsOversight of Employment Equity and potential BBBEE outcomesFacilitate Social & Compliance Audits and Ethical AuditsResponsible for addressing all IR, disciplinary and grievance issuesExperience and requirements:Completed tertiary qualification focusing on Human Resources or similarMinimum 5 years experience in HR plus management experience preferredLabour and Health & Safety experience essentialSound communication and interpersonal skillsValid drivers license for driving in South Africa as well as own transport is essentialNeed to reside within a reasonable distance to Franschhoek office
