Job Summary JOB TITLE: HR OfficerLOCATION: North WestINDUSTRY: MiningRESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures specific to the mining industry
- Assist with recruitment and selection processes for positions within the mining sector
- Develop and implement training programs for mining employees
- Manage employee relations and handle employee grievances
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to employment in the mining industry
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and employee files
- Provide HR support to managers and employees in the mining sector
- Assist with performance management processes, including conducting performance reviews for mining employees
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR practices are aligned with the overall business strategy
- Keep up-to-date with developments in the mining industry and adjust HR practices accordinglyREQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in HR management or related field
- Previous experience working in HR within the mining industry
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations in the mining sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Certification in HR management or related field (e.g. SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.Benefits:
