Job Description

Responsibilities:



TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

WSP Submissions ATR Submissions Facilitating internal trainings Planning and coordinating training for branches Making training bookings and arrangements Liaising with training providers
RECRUITMENT

Sending out vacancy adverts Screening and shortlisting candidates Sitting in on interviews Drafting offer letters Drafting contracts Onboarding process Creating new employee files File audits
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

Help employees build on skills that enable them to perform better in their roles Assessing progress and providing ongoing coaching and feedback Establish a two-way communication channel to receive employee feedback and modify development policies and standards accordingly Determine and resolve workplace issues that prevent optimal performance, such as individual grievances or poor departmental structures
EMPLOYEE WELLNESS

Facilitate counselling to employees. Implement Employee Health and Wellness Strategic Framework. Model healthy behaviours for employees Improve staff health and productivity Increase energy and reduce stress
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

Assist in Resolving disputes between employees and management Assist in creating policies that are fair for everyone in the workplace Address and investigate workplace conflict and inappropriate employee conduct Managing labour relations within an office environment Assist in coordinating disciplinary hearings

Qualifications and Experience:



Minimum Qualification: Diploma/ Degree in Human Resources Management or Related

2 years proven experience in related or similar role MerSETA experience will be advantageous Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to thrive in a dynamic and demanding work environment Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively Proficiency in computer applications, including the use of MS Office Suite
