Job Description


Role Duties And Responsibilities

  • Full Payroll Administration of our clients employees.
  • The processing of our clients payroll on a monthly / bi-weekly / weekly basis on SAGE VIP.
  • Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating and inputting data from clients and management.
  • Assist our clients with the administration regarding payroll administrative matters and monthly submissions.
  • Process our clients employees' expenses within the monthly salaries / wages.
  • Administration of our clients employees loans and other ad hoc expense.
  • Liaise with our clients to ensure accurate information for payment.
  • Computes our clients employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes.
  • Complete clients payroll reports for record-keeping purposes and managerial review
  • Performs the distribution of our clients employees salaries and wages for the direct transfers to their employees' bank accounts and payslips.
  • Determines organisation's tax obligations by calculating taxes as well as statutory deductions, union payments and 3rd Parties, etc.
  • Maintain our clients employees' confidences and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • All our clients payroll accounting activities and reconciliations.
  • Monthly SARS EMP submission and loading of EMP payment on E-filing.
  • Monthly UIF Declarations.
  • Bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and submissions to SARS on Easyfile.
  • Annual IRP5 reconciliations.
  • Annual COIDA Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases submissions.
  • Meeting all statutory deadlines regarding payroll administration with SARS, Department of Labour.
  • Adhere to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law.
Role Experience And Qualifications
  • HR or Payroll Diploma / 5 years' experience within an HR / Payroll Function.
  • Computer literate and Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills.
  • Min 1 year SAGE VIP Experience with processing and full payroll function.
  • Full understanding of BCEA and Labour Legislation.
  • Understanding of Payroll Recons and General Ledgers.
  • Ability to think logically and perform duties within very tight deadlines.
