Job Summary Job Title: HR Superintendent - MiningLocation: Gauteng, South AfricaJob Type: Full-timeJob Summary:
Hire Resolve's Client are looking for an experienced HR Superintendent to join their mining operation in Gauteng. The HR Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the mining site, ensuring compliance with company policies and South African labor laws. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management within the mining industry and be able to effectively manage a large workforce in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and South African labor laws
- Manage recruitment and selection processes for all levels of employees within the mining site
- Oversee employee training and development programs to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce
- Handle employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner
- Monitor and report on HR metrics such as turnover rate, absenteeism, and training completion rates
- Work closely with senior management to identify staffing needs and plan for future workforce requirements
- Provide guidance and support to departmental managers on HR-related matters
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the mining site
- Manage and resolve any labor disputes or industrial relations issues that may ariseQualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience within the mining industry
- Knowledge of South African labor laws and regulations
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems
- Certification in HR or Labor Relations is a plusBenefits:
