HRIS System Owner xe2x80x93 HR - east RandFull job descriptionSolugrowth is looking fir HRIS System Owner - HR to ensure that HR applications (Recruitment, Onboarding, Development, Performance, Training, Employee Relations, and Organisational Positions) are implemented, supported, maintained and enhanced by aligning business requirements and ICT processes and strategy.RESPONSIBILITIES:? Participates within a team to contribute towards the teamxe2x80x99s objectives;? Follows and applies the ITIL methodology;? Conducts and documents system, functional and scenario testing of development;? Conducts root cause analysis and uses judgement and prior learnings to identify the issue and propose the best solution;? Ensures quality assurance methodology is followed;? Adheres to the Software Development Life Cycle;? Provides project guidance and support for the development of new or revised modules in the Human Resources Information system, processes and related procedures. Assists in the implementation and communication plans;? Develops plans and leads Operations on the testing and implementing system upgrades and modifications. Works with the HRIS team and systems vendors to identify and implement upgrades. Ensures modifications and upgrades are successfully tested before implementation in the live environment. Reports systems issues to systems vendors and works with vendors to resolve the issues. Documents processes and results;? Utilises standard reporting tools to write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries. Assists in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs;? Maintains data integrity in systems by running queries and analysing data;? Develops and documents workflow processes to create efficiency in the operation of HR Information Systems. Works with the HRIS team to implement complex workflow processes;? Plans and provides or arranges training classes for Operations using Human Resource Information Systems. This includes initial training for new users, training on new processes, or training for groups on specific functionality. Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation;? Analyses the effectiveness and usage of initiatives;? Innovates by keeping up to date/abreast with the technological world, new products and IT industry challenges;? Demonstrates the ability to interact with business stakeholders and users, to gain consensus, build relationships to maintain user confidence;? Gathers requirements by conducting and following the business analysis process and documenting these requirements;? Ensures the applications comply with legislation and business rules;? Able to determine the requirements for an enhanced system or a new system;? Analyses trends, patterns and processes to facilitate a proactive approach to managing applications;? Shows a continual improvement mindset by analysing and innovating in all areas of responsibility;? Management of 3rd parties to ensure business delivery timeline and requirements are met;? Delivers timeous and effective support by investigating and resolving application errors, data discrepancies and queries;? Ensures system integrations are automated where possible and seamless;? Ensures the system is accessible;? Manages and maintain security;? Ensures the system is user-friendly, reliable and consistent;? May be required to participate in and/or manage projects from time to time;? Facilitates and participate in meetings; and? Participates in industry user groups and forum. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Matric Certificate with Mathematics; andRelevant Tertiary qualification;Working experience as HR generalist in a medium to large organisation;Super-User experience: configuration, integration management, user support;Human Resource system experience;System Support experience advantageous;Able to translate tech speak into user and business understanding;Advanced Microsoft Office;Understanding of SQL language advantageous;Knowledge and experience of system testing methodology; andTraining facilitation experience.
