Job Description


Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced HRIS System Owner - HR to join their ICT division. This role involves ensuring the implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancement of HR applications. The successful candidate will align business requirements with ICT processes and strategies to foster an efficient HR environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to meet objectives and follow ITIL methodology.
  • Conduct and document system, functional, and scenario testing for developments.
  • Perform root cause analysis and propose effective solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Provide guidance and support for new or revised HR modules, processes, and related procedures.
  • Lead the testing and implementation of system upgrades and modifications.
  • Maintain data integrity and develop efficient workflow processes.
  • Provide training on HR Information Systems for new users and on new functionalities.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of HR initiatives and stay updated with technological advancements.
  • Interact with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure application compliance with legislation.
  • Manage third-party vendors to meet business delivery timelines and requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve application errors, data discrepancies, and queries.
  • Ensure system integrations are automated, the system is accessible, and security is maintained.
Qualifications:
  • Matric Certificate with Mathematics
  • Relevant diploma or degree
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years as an HR generalist in a medium to large organisation
  • Minimum of 5 years of Super-User experience: configuration, integration management, user support
  • Minimum of 5 years of Human Resource system experience
  • System support experience is advantageous
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Basic understanding of SQL language is advantageous
  • Knowledge and experience of system testing methodology
  • Experience in training facilitation
