-POSITION INFO:Job Title:HSE ManagerSalary/rate:Market RelatedPosition overview:To manage health and safety of all employees working on the construction site. To lead, manage, and coordinate Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and practices for Solar PV projects within South Africa. The HSE Manager ensures compliance with South African legal and regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies. The role aims to foster a safe work environment, promote zero harm, by leading and managing on-site HSE resources to ensure compliance.Qualifications:xc2xb7 Matric Qualificationxc2xb7 In position of a suitable HSE accreditation and also registered with SACPCMP in accordance with South African safety regulationsxc2xb7 National Diploma in Safety Management NQ6 or Advanced Diploma/Btech in Safety Safety Management at NQ7Certifications:
Registration with the South African Council for Professional and Technical Chemists (SACPCMP) as CHSM/Pr.

Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other relevant international and South African standards.Skills and Experience:xc2xb7 Shall have a minimum working experience of 10 years at site execution of photovoltaic project or any other mega construction site, and shall be a specialized professionalxc2xb7 5 to 10 years of experience in managing Health, Safety, and Environment for projects, preferably within the renewable energy or construction sectors.
